Old Saybrook, Connecticut is a lovely place to visit in New England and there are many area attractions close by such as Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, Mystic Aquarium and Seaport, The Essex Steam Train and Riverboat Ride (located in historic Essex), the Ivoryton and Goodspeed Playhouses, and plenty of outlet shopping. There are a variety of restaurants in the area, some within walking distance. And we offer beach passes to Harvey's Beach right here in Old Saybrook.

The Heritage Motor Inn has been family run for over 40 years and boasts a quiet, quaint non-commercial atmosphere. We live here on the premises in the historical 1755 Nathaniel Bushnell house, which has a lovely pool and patio area (with sunny and shady spots) located in back of the house. We back up to a residential neighborhood where the Long Island Sound is a pleasant and safe ½ mile walk away. We are here to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We are now offering a Continental Breakfast to our guests.

The pool area is located behind the 1755 Bushnell House, offering privacy from passing traffic. There are places to sun yourself and shaded areas where you can sit in a comfortable cushioned chair and just relax.

A convenient stop between Boston, Cape Cod and the Metro NY Area

Located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, which is equidistant between New York City and Boston, Massachusetts. We are conveniently located on the Boston Post Road (US Route 1) at exit 66 off Interstate Highway 95. In addition to the highway, Old Saybrook can be reached via rail through Amtrak daily and MetroNorth/Shoreline East Commuter Rail System weekdays. Tweed New Haven Airport, Hartford/Springfield's Bradley International Airport and Providence's T.F. Green International Airport service our area of New England. Car rental is available through several local rental agencies.
